Tibet has long been a draw for travelers. The mysticism and beauty of the people and the land are interwoven with ancient yogic practices and wisdom, and it’s amazing high-plateau strikes an average elevation of 16,000 feet. The stark beauty of Tibet is not to be missed or underestimated.
This 5-day trek connects two of the country’s most important monasteries, Ganden and Samye, where a yoga practice in and around the monastery is invited. Yaks and local guides lead the way to historical and holy sites both in the capital of Lhasa and on the high passes between monasteries. Yogis both new and experienced will find new interpretations of their practice and pranayama in Tibet’s ancient beauty.
